The new collection of works “JE SUIS LA MATIÈRE” by Vincenzo De Cotiis was presented in the artist’s Milan space with the participation of KRASSKY Gallery.

The exhibition is conceived as a cohesive environment in which the works are experienced in direct relation to architecture and light. Rather than isolated pieces, the objects form a unified spatial composition, where each element contributes to a continuous visual and tactile narrative.

A restrained palette and De Cotiis’ signature use of patinated surfaces, layered textures, metal, and reflective materials draw attention to the essence of material itself. The focus shifts from form alone to the state of matter—its density, depth, and ongoing transformation over time.

In the “JE SUIS LA MATIÈRE” series, forms extend beyond their own boundaries, maintaining an internal tension and a sense of continuous evolution. Matter is approached as an open structure—fluid, unstable, and constantly in the process of becoming.
The works exist at the intersection of art, design, and architecture, creating a unified field in which objects are not perceived as separate entities, but as integral parts of a larger spatial experience.
