DC1507
VINCENZO DE COTIIS
2015
Colored glass, polished brass, light fittings
H 270 × W 35 × D 15 cm
Limited Edition of 8 + 4 AP
The DC1507 wall light takes the form of an elongated vertical composition in colored glass and polished brass. Transparent elements contain the light within the structure, creating the impression of a luminous architectural volume.
The interplay of transparent glass, the warm sheen of brass, and light emphasizes the work’s depth and layered construction. When illuminated, the materials and surrounding wall are transformed, giving the functional object a distinctly sculptural presence.
