DC2415 combines bronzed cast brass and light into elongated sculptural forms reminiscent of fragments of an organic structure. Irregular geometry and fluid curves retain a sense of movement and internal tension characteristic of Vincenzo De Cotiis’ practice.
Light is embedded within the material as part of the structure itself, softly revealing the texture of the metal and the depth of the surface. Bronzed cast brass preserves traces of manual intervention and oxidation, reinforcing the tactile quality of the objects and their architectural presence.
The work exists between lighting object and sculptural form, interacting with space through light, shadow, and materiality.
