Untitled 19 combines recycled fiberglass, marble, and sculpted Murano glass into a composition defined by strong material layering. The contrast between dense opaque surfaces and translucent glass creates a complex structure in which form is perceived as the result of continuous material transformation.
The texture of the object preserves traces of manual intervention, natural irregularity, and the interaction of different materials. Light passes through the glass elements, enhancing the depth of the surface and the characteristic tension in Vincenzo De Cotiis’ practice between organic plasticity and architectural geometry.
