The DC1623 floor lamp is crafted from cast brass and conceived as an open spatial structure in which the light source is integrated into a sculptural form. Elongated vertical elements are joined by freely arranged crosspieces, creating an asymmetrical architectural framework.
The irregularity of the lines and the plasticity of the metal are deliberately set against the structure’s underlying geometry. Light accentuates the textured surface of the cast brass and creates shifting highlights and shadows, enhancing the sense of depth and transforming the functional object into an autonomous sculptural presence.
