Rhizome No.1 Gold is executed in ceramic with gold glaze and draws inspiration from the organic forms of tuberous roots and dense tree trunks. The sculptural volume avoids rigid geometry: the surface flows freely between elevations and cavities, creating a sense of natural growth and internal movement.
The gold glaze interacts with light, revealing the depth of the material and the shifting quality of the surface. Even beyond its functional context, the work is perceived as an autonomous sculptural object, combining monumental form with soft organic plasticity.
