The DC1718 coffee table is defined by a contrast between the substantial nature of its materials and the fluidity of its form. The cast Murano glass top has a free, asymmetrical outline and a complex, irregular surface in which glass interacts with marble and metal.
The combination of transparent, mineral, and reflective surfaces creates a sense of depth and layering. Light reveals each material differently, while the shifting contours and texture of the top give the functional object a distinctly sculptural presence.
