Ex Hale — a stone table based on the translation of a soft form into a hard material. Its silhouette echoes the contours of a cushion, originally shaped from two sheets of metal. This soft, fluid structure is then translated into a digital model and reproduced in stone using CNC machining.
The result is a tension between the visual softness of the form and the physical hardness of the material — whether marble or another stone. The polished surface heightens this effect, creating a sensation of plasticity and weight that defies the conventional perception of stone.
