The series Je marchais pieds nus dans l'étang addresses the sensory perception of space through material and light. The title sets the tone for an immediate, bodily experience — movement through an environment where the boundaries between object and surroundings become ambiguous.
The compositions are built upon combinations of glass, resin, metal, and stone. Transparent and dense layers are superimposed, creating depth, reflections, and a sense of immersion. The surfaces are irregular; traces of hand-finishing preserve the sensation of process and time.
