The DC2551 sofa continues Vincenzo De Cotiis’s exploration of biomorphic plasticity and monolithic form. Its sculptural silhouette is constructed through fluid transitions between volumes and an almost continuous line, allowing the piece to read as a unified architectural structure.
Leather reinforces the integrity of the form and enhances the tactile quality of the surface, while antiqued cast white bronze introduces material contrast and emphasises the structural elements. The low profile and elongated composition give the work a sense of stability and latent tension.
