The copper hue becomes a unifying element in Marius's practice. Copper is a key material in his work, possessing not only physical but also symbolic properties. Widely used in communication systems and infrastructure, it acts as a conductor — both literally and metaphorically — connecting spaces, processes, and people.

By turning to this material, the artist explores the notion of boundaries — geographical, cultural, and psychological. His practice questions their stability, addressing themes of interconnectedness, collective responsibility, and the possibility of coexistence among different forms of experience.
