VINCENZO DE COTIIS
2015
Bronzed Brass, Silver-Plated Brass
H 190 x L 170 x W 40 cm
Unique piece
In DC1515A, Vincenzo De Cotiis explores the relationship between reflection, form, and space. The sculptural structure in bronzed and silver-plated brass evokes an architectural fragment or an abstract spatial composition, where fluid curves intersect with sharp geometric lines.
The polished surfaces capture and distort the surrounding environment, transforming the piece into an ever-changing structure of light. The balance between the industrial rigor of metal and the fluidity of form reflects De Cotiis’ enduring interest in materiality, time, and sculptural expression.
