DC2404A is constructed around reflection, light, and distorted geometry. Displaced planes and an irregular contour form a structure in which the mirror is perceived as a shifting surface capable of transforming the surrounding space.
Cast white bronze, German silver, frosted glass, and integrated light merge into a complex layered object where reflection loses its stability and becomes part of the architectural environment. Light softly diffuses through the internal volume of the piece, revealing the depth of the material and reinforcing a sense of spatial tension.
The work exists between functional object and sculptural form, maintaining De Cotiis’ characteristic relationship between matter, light, and architecture.
