Bolotas Sofa Olive
CAMPANA
2015
Sheep's Wool, Wood
H 90 x L 215 x W 127 cm
Edition 8
Bolotas Sofa is one of the Campana brothers’ most recognisable works, where design takes on an almost organic form. Its voluminous surface, composed of soft wool elements, evokes a natural landscape or a cluster of seeds, creating a sense of comfort, tactility, and living matter.
A characteristic feature of Campana’s practice is the transformation of familiar materials into emotional and sensorial objects. Despite its strong decorative presence, the sofa remains functional, combining sculptural qualities, craftsmanship, and an experimental approach to form.
