Mesa Taboão reflects Campana’s characteristic synthesis of artisanal craftsmanship and expressive geometry. The tabletop is composed of solid wood elements in varying tones, forming a complex rhythmic composition in which the natural grain of the material becomes an integral part of the structure.
The fragmented surface and layered base create a sense of architectural balance between mass and fluidity of form. Existing between design object and sculpture, the work reveals Campana’s attention to materiality, handcraft, and the organic expressiveness of wood.
